\t\t\t\tScience has unlocked the secret to political affiliation:<\/a><\/p>\n

Researchers at the University of California and Los Angeles claim that Democrats and Republicans actually have different physiological make-ups.<\/p>\n

According to them, whereas Democrats get fearful and excited at the mere thought of an attack, Republicans actually have to witness the attack to show any emotions.<\/p>\n

The researchers found that Democrat’s amygdala ? a region of the brain responsible for strong emotions such as compassion and fear ? started jumping when they saw President Bush’s television commercials about the 9\/11 attack.<\/p>\n

But Republican’s amygdala stayed calm till they actually saw the attack on the WTC, reports the New York Daily News.<\/p>\n

“It’s certainly not that they don’t care, the world is a dangerous place, terrible things happen, and you have to be strong, but their lack of response may just reflect their world-view” the report quoted psychiatrist Joshua Freedman, as saying.<\/p>\n

“It’s possible they now fear the election, or feel they may lose the White House,” added another Neurologist Marco Iacoboni. <\/p><\/blockquote>\n
