One of my prized possessions as a youth was a T-shirt my mom bought me after a particularly fruitful Crab-netting session up near Newport, OR. It had the inscription: “I caught crabs on the Oregon Coast!” If I recall correctly, I was told by an elementary school teacher that it was inappropriate, and I couldn’t for the life of me figure out why….
