Sheer willpower, my man, and a little nicorette and some of that fancy Zyban/Wellbutrin. Like Mark Twain said, “it’s easy to quite smoking, I’ve done it plenty of times.”
Good luck, it’s doable though wretched. I smoked 30 years and loved every day of it before quitting in 1995. I wore nico-patches for 6 months, dreamed in High Definition Technicolor, and had to stay out of bars the entire half year.
Since then I’ve gained 25 pounds but consider it a fair trade. Smizzarettes are a crap way to die…
