Jon Gallagher has a blog, and even though he’s being a stinky liberal you should check it out on account of his being all smart, technical, and literate. Right now: San Diego Soliloquies

Woah, thanks for the plug.
And for those of you who may not know it, you’ve stumbled onto the blog of a cranky, bellicose Texan (but I repeat myself) who has no peer as a someone you would want to share a technical faxhole with (and the other kind too, come to this of it)

Looks like we scattered from the Bay Area in opposite directions – I’m in a Portland suburb now, but still doing the wireless thing.
Best to Marian too.
Today I discovered an interesting site–interesting I say, whether you’re left or right, tho I risk that you’ll brand it “Commie”–called “Oldpspeak” from the Rutherford Institute (what the heck’s the Rutherford Institute?)–religion, politics, art & culture, law, interviews…”on subjects often overlooked by the mainstream media”. I’m always looking for good alternatives to CNN/Fox/New York Times, even NPR/PBS which seems so limp most of the time. I read Harpers, The American Conservative regularly. Any suggestions (serious) appreciated. Gallagher’s blog not bad…
