The photo of the soldier sitting against the vehicle is supposedly a guy I used to work with. He called his mom from Bagdad. He said to look for a photo like the one above. The journalist woke him to take the picture.
All of us at work are so proud of him. We have been writing to him and have sent several care packages since he left the U.S. Joining the Marines was the best thing for him. You can see the pride he has in himself when he stops in to see us while he is home visiting his mom.
