Spunk not withstanding, Ben Wallace played way over his head last night, and he can’t maintain the pace for another three games.

But isn’t it odd that Miami star Dwayne Wade was seriously injured in the Heat’s playoff series with Detroit, and so was Spurs star Manu Ginobili? Just a coincidence, of course, nobody would accuse the Pistons of being a bunch of thugs.

No, not unless he/she is a whining San Antonio / Laker / Heat fan. My heart bleeds for you. Buddy, you’re as full of crap about the Pistons as you are about the Schiavo mess.

The Pistons were the best defensive team, total, over the past 2 years. 2 guys get injuries over their own missteps (if you don’t believe me, watch the tapes), and you cry foul already. Sounds to me like you’re trying to make excuses for your team, and they haven’t even won the series yet.

Look, let’s let the series play out before we start insinuating nefarious conspiracies. Sound good?

  2. hey I’m totally sure it’s a coincedence,
but the pistons wouldn’t be in the finals if wade had not been hurt. not to mention shaq, jones,
and haslem… ironically the healthiest guy on the team was alonzo with his new kidney… love your blog… john
ps harry I think the pistons will show their true colors when Brown leaves… coaching is everything on that roster
